Beach Day

I just got back from an awesome day trip to Zuma beach. It's probably one of the best beaches in Southern California. There are always areas that aren't too crowded and there's actually free parking! Anyways I'm sporting that once youth lace skull tank and original white and black leather creepers from TUKs along with a vintage messenger bag, courtesy of my father. It's always a good idea to take a day off work and enjoy yourself.

Sierra

 Last Thursday, July 21, I hit the streets with my good friend Sierra. Obviously I shot her because she has the perfect look for our album NIGHT KIDS. She wore the white shark cross tank by once youth with Anarchy boots supplied by our good friends over at T.U.K. We roamed the streets of the valley and shot in various locations in search of the perfect shot. What do you think?

Night Kids

Nearly everyday this week Asia and I have gone on a photo shoot. We got emails from a few people asking if they could model for us so we decided to meet up with them and shoot. This time I wanted to capture the other side of Once Youth so I shot at night to add a more edgy and industrial feel to the shots. We styled everyone with the amazing TUKs we received earlier along with a few of our own accessories. Everyone really looked great and we so happy with our new album NIGHT KIDS. It's a collective so keep an eye out cause we'll be adding new photos every week!

Once Youth & TUK shoes

 Once Youth teams up with the infamous punk shoe brand, TUKs. I contacted them about a week ago and they were so eager to work with us. We talked back and forth and they agreed to supply us with shoes for our photoshoots. Asia and I have loved this company since we were in junior high so you can imagine how excited we are to work with them. I'm going to go on shoots hopefully everyday next week so get ready to see the darker side of Once Youth. A big thanks to TUKs, we love them!

4th of July weekend

Asia and I just got back from a fantastic trip to San Francisco. We went to see the final showing of the Balenciaga exhibit. It was beyond incredible. He was the one of the first haute couture designers that completely changed the idea of fashion. His work is so relevant to what is in style today so Asia and I were able to draw tons of inspiration from his designs. We got a ton of work done and changed our website photos while we were up there. We ended the trip with a fantastic firework show in San Fran. All in all it was a killer fourth of July weekend.

Summer Luvin'

It's Summer for Asia and I! We're finally able to focus our energy on our company and not have to worry about school. We'll be coming out with new photos almost every week. There are lots of exciting things happening this summer so stay tuned!

Day Kids

I've recently taken some pictures for the Once Youth album, Day Kids, on our facebook. Asia and I headed up to Santa Barbara to meet up with a couple of friends. We shot in the hills of Montecito for 10 hours straight. We survived on Ritz crackers and Arizona iced tea. It was beyond exhausting, but we are pretty happy with the final results. Once Youth cut of "OUR SUMMER DAZE"

Finally after months of anticipation Asia and I have finished the once youth cut of "OUR SUMMER DAZE".  It was a total pain and took forever to complete but we couldn't be happier. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Sequoia

Asia and I have had a ton of work piling up on us so we decided to take memorial day weekend for ourselves, and headed to Sequoia National Park. We have the nicest getaway house up here and so far the weekend has been perfect. The woods are the perfect refuge, free of disturbances, tranquil, and soothing. We've been able to relax and clear our heads so we can just work. We have updated our website, blog, taken new pictures, and completed our cut of "Our Summer Daze". We're going to release it very soon so it's definitely something to look forward to!
